WILL MITCHELL RETURN? By Ross Hughes

Did you see it?  If not….why?

The Internet is in crazy meltdown over last nights stunning finale of Season Three’s quite wonderful Being Human, with everyone asking the same question…”Is Mitchell gone for good?” and here at HCF we are wondering too.

With actor Aidan Turner off to film The Hobbit which could take him away for nearly two years it seems that the finale which brought to tears to my household was the last time we saw him as the Vampire Mitchell and maybe spinning the whole concept of Season 4 in a different direction which was suggested by the arrival of a new but old Vamp who seems hell-bent on crushing the human race.

We can reveal on HCF though that while Turner is cagey about his demise from the show that made him famous and his apparent end of his story arc, he is up for talking about any chance of a return as long as it does not interfere with the Hobbit shooting!  With the BBC yet to confirm a fourth season but with the many plot threads still hanging that is a must, it seems that fans who cried into their pillows long after the credits roll may get a chance to see Mitch return in some form….besides that house won’t be the same with just a ghost and two Werewolves…..

Keep an eye out on HCF for the full review of season three from myself in the next coming days…….

  1. I don’t know if its me, but the acting in Being Human is piss poor in my opinion. I did catch last night’s finale and although i don’t follow the programme, i knew Mitchell was a huge part of it and so for him to part company with the programme like that is a jaw dropper.

  4. I have to disagree BAT….Being Human is a show that needs to be watched from the very start. You really become to care for these characters so last night was a stunning finale. The Internet went crazy last night and its a show that has really began to grow into somethng. Look at the Amercian version, they have basically
copied it to a tee and made sure that it keeps the essence of what makes this so unique.

Its not about the monsters or the gore its about friendship and last nights final half hour was a whole three years of build up all settled with a stake to the heart for both viewers and characters. Yes the acting may be a bit at times, but when you care so much of their lifes, you don’t really care…

In an age where British TV can only turn out endless reality shows , I can out applaud this and Misfits for being so bold and fresh!!!!!!!
