Wolf Creek director producing new sci-fi horror Crawlspace

Greg McLean is the director responsible for the brutal and harrowing Wolf Creek, and the equally brilliant, and one of the finest monster movies of the last ten years, Rogue. He is now back with a brand new film 6 Miranda Drive, but not before producing Crawlspace, a sci-fi horror being directed Justi Dix (the special FX guru who worked on Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones).

Crawlspace is being filmed in Melbourne Australia and centres on a group of elite soldiers tasked with extracting a team of scientists from Pine Gap, Australia’s top secret military underground compound. The scientists have come under attack from unknown forces, however, on their way to save them, the soldiers encounter a woman who has lost her memory. Fighting for survial in the compound, the soldiers, the scientists and the woman come to realise that all is not as it seems and the site has become a testing ground for something far more sinister.

Sounds intriguing i must say. There is no news yet of a release date as the film is still in production.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
