As if the superb and ultra violent trailer wasn’t enough just the other day, a brand new poster has arrived for Marcus Nispel’s Conan the Barbarian. The poster is more violent and looks to be taking some influences from Arnie’s original Conan film in its appearance.
Jason Mamoa plays Conan who heads off on a journey of vengeance and violence after his village is destroyed and Father murdered by a ruthless Warlord. Promising aggressive stuff, screenwriter Sean Hood said this:
“The movie is unflinching in its depiction of barbarism, slavery and warfare, [although] the violence and nudity emerge from the fabric of the story… Yes, you’ll see blood and boobs, but this isn’t a Cinemax movie; it’s epic action/fantasy. And yes, it’s rated R!”
