First image released of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

The NY Times released the first ever image of Abraham Lincoln himself in next years hugely anticipated horror flick, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. You can see the image underneath.

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Nightwatch, Wanted) the film tells the tale of how Abraham Lincoln’s Mother is murdered by a supernatural creature and he makes it his mission to hunt and kill vampires in revenge. Benjamin Walker plays the historical President and I’m sure you’ll agree he looks a bit mental judging by the image. Supposedly Lincoln’s quest for Vampire’s is presented as part of the conflict behind the American civil war.

The film is based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith and also stars Rufus Sewell, Dominic Cooper and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
