The Wolfman reboot has a director

Not long a go we told you how Universal were planning to reboot yet another Wolfman movie. Originally planned as a sequel to the disastrous Hammer produced Wolfman starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, the script by Michael Tabb will be re-worked. The plan now is to reboot George Waggners 1941 Wolfman and simply call it Werewolf.

No news on a any cast names, but a director has finally been chosen. Step forward Louis Morneau, the chap who directed such joys as Joy Ride 2, Bats and The Hitcher 2. Needless to say, Werewolf will be a straight to DVD affair.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i’m a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn’t bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
