Iron Sky, directed by Timo Vuorensola, is very high up on my must-see list of 2012, and news on the sci-fi comedy has been pretty quiet of late. The film is currently in its post-production stage, which is turning out to be a very lengthy process, so fingers crossed the film makes its scheduled release date of 4th April 2012 in its native Finland.

The effects heavy sci-fi stars Julia Dietze, Christopher Kirby, Gotz Otto and Tilo Pruckner. Johanna Sinisalo and Jarmo Puskala wrote the quite brilliant looking film, and if you need further proof of just how cool this film will be, then check out the trailer which I have included as a reminder.

Synopsis:

The Nazis set up a secret base on the moon in 1945 where they hide out and plan to return to power in 2018.
