New teaser poster for ‘Re5ident Evil: Retribution’ says “Evil Goes Global”

Whoever is behind the marketing for Paul W.S. Anderson’s Re5ident Evil: Retribution is certainly making sure no one forgets it is coming. With the release date of 14th September still way off, you’d think after Milla Jovovich’s constant Twitter updates (not a complaint by the way), new images and a trailer that there would be nothing left to show until nearer the release? Well, clearly not, as yesterday a new teaser poster was published, and I must admit it is a mighty fine teaser poster as well! Check it out below.

The wildly successful film franchise adaptation that has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide to the popular video game series, Resident Evil, returns in its highly anticipated fifth installment, RE5IDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION in state-of-the art 3D.

The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
