The Devil Inside director to continue with found footage horror in Werewolf flick ‘Wer’

While we here in the UK are STILL waiting for the Devil Inside to arrive (March 2nd, not long now folks!), director William Brent Bell has announced yet another film. Already attached to a film called The Vatican, it seems Bell will be continuing with the found footage horror genre with a new film titled Wer.

Now, not much is known about the project other than the fact it will be based in a police station, with a suspect turning into a Werewolf. Incorporating found footage seems like a great idea, and the plot of the film sounds terrific, the question is can Bell pull it off?

The Devil Inside co-writer Matthew Peterman will also co-write Wer, and production is scheduled to begin on 9th April. No other news is available yet. My main concern is the title, it’s a bit crap really, but hopefully the film will make up for that.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
