Watch this and you may end up dead next week! The full trailer for ‘Sadako 3D’ has arrived!

Quite recently we brought you the teaser trailer for the next instalment of the classic Ringu series, Sadako 3D. Yes, you did read that right, it IS in 3D, and if the makers can pull off a decent 3D experience, then this could be fun!

The full length trailer has now arrived, although it does not have English subtitles, but then if you are reading this with interest, then you already have a good idea of what Sadako is all about. The trailer looks alright, although the creepiness of the other Ringu films appears to be sadly missing. Oh, and what the Hell is all that rock music about at the half way point? It just doesn’t sit right at all!

Anyway, Sadako 3D is directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa, and is based on Koji Suzuki’s original novel. The film stars Satomi Ishihara, Kôji Seto and Yusuke Yamamoto. Sadako 3D is due for release in Japan in May.

Synopsis:

13 years after the original RING movie, Sadako returns to the big screen in 3D! Akane is a high school teacher who hears a rumor from her students that there is actual footage on the Internet of someone’s suicide. The footage is said to drive anyone who sees it to also commit suicide. Akane does not believe the rumor at first, but when one of her female students dies after viewing the footage, she and her boyfriend Takanori are fatefully drawn into the horror that has been created by the man who appears in the suicide footage, Kashiwada. Kashiwada’s intention is to create chaos in the world by bringing back Sadako and the power of her curse. Now Akane has to fight against Sadako and Kashiwada to save the lives of herself and Takanori.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
