Creepy new clip and UK poster revealed for Nicholas McCarthy’s terrifying horror ‘The Pact’

Those lovely people over at Empire got their hands on an exclusive clip and first look at the UK poster for Nicholas McCarthy’s awesome looking horror, The Pact. The film is a full length version of McCarthy’s own short film also called The Pact. The short film, released in 2011, was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival, and the word is that the full length version of the film is very very good.

I have been looking forward to this for a while now, and the full length trailer was released earlier this week, and I never expected it to be quite as good as it was. Empire’s new clip is also pretty darned spooky, as we see Annie (Caity Lotz) having a few problems with a supernatural force. Check out the new clip and poster below.

The creepy ghost story in the tradition of Ringu, Suspiria and Psycho features a cast which includes Agnes Bruckner (Vacancy 2), Sam Bell, Haley Hudson (Ghost Whisperer), Kathleen Rose Perkins and Caspar Van Dien (Starship Troopers).

The Pact arrives in UK cinemas 8th June.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
