Entertainment Weekly recently caught up with Mockingbird Lane creator Bryan Fuller. The man in charge of the Munsters TV show reboot shared some concept art, and hinted at things to come in his new version of the show.
In the images shared, we get a look at the new version of the Munsters house (above) and we also have our first glimpse of Grandpa and Lilly (below). I must say, Lilly is looking mighty hot! Eddie Izzard has already been cast as Grandpa, Lilly’s niece Marilyn (who was saved from being devoured by her own Mother) will be played by British actress Charity Wakefield.
Fuller has said he will be sticking with the usual ‘monsters’ of Vampire, Frankenstein’s Monster and Werewolf Boy, but is also planning to add a few of Universal’s other horror creations into the show. No word yet on who or what he intends to add, but it is exciting. Fuller also told EW that he wants to make a sort of “American Harry Potter”:
“We want this show to be an American Harry Potter,” Fuller says. “To have that sense of a magical world that you get to go to with your family and find stories told in a fantastical way that are instantly relatable. It’s an American Horror Story that the whole family can watch.”
More on this as it develops.
