Intense and deliciously creepy trailer arrives for Korean horror anthology ‘Horror Stories’

A rather excellent trailer has landed for an upcoming Korean Anthology of horror titled ‘Horror Stories’, and thanks to Twitch we have managed to share that trailer right here with you. Sadly there are no English subtitles, so you will have to rely on the stunning visuals and creepy atmosphere to get the idea of what to expect, and thankfully this is not a bad thing.

The trailer looks terrific, and while there is no news on a UK release for this impressive looking collection of short stories, I will be keeping a close eye on it and will gladly share any release details if and when they become available. For now though, again thanks to Twitch, we do have a synopsis which has been written by the people behind Korea’s PIFAN film festival, the place where Horror Stories will make its debut.

The opening film of the 16th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival(PiFan) is HORROR STORY, the horror omnibus film of four episodes by five filmmakers including Jeong Bum Shik(EPITAPH), Kim Gok and Kim Sun(WHITE), Hong Ji Young(THE NAKED KITCHEN), Yim Dae Woong(MY TEACHER) and Min Gyu Dong(MEMENTO MORI, ANTIQUE), who finished the bridge cuts connecting all episodes. All four episodes are combined in a film-in-film structure provided by a story of a young girl who is kidnapped by a serial killer who cannot sleep until he listens to a story horrifying to death.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
