Sacha Baron Cohen, the genius writer and star of such greats as Borat, Ali G, Bruno and the recent movie The Dictator, is back, and very soon I might add! No sooner has The Dictator been released in cinemas the controversial star is already planning his next movie.
Reports have come in from The Hollywood Reporter that Cohen is planning to write a spoof based on a sort of James Bond type character, however with his busy schedule, it is not yet known if Cohen will also act in the film.
After the success of James Bond type spoofs Johnny English and the French made OSS 117 series, Paramount are now getting in on the spy-comedy action after acquiring a pitch from Cohen and Phil Johnston (Wreck it Ralph, Cedar Rapids). The un-titled comedy will feature a James Bond-like character who” is forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, a moronic soccer hooligan,”
That is all that is known for now, but expect more on this as it develops.
