To celebrate the release of The Purge: Anarchy, on 25th July, Horror Cult Films is giving one lucky reader the chance to win a signed poster by the film’s producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity Franchise, The Purge) and a merchandise goody bag!

On one night, every year, all crime is legal – The anticipated sequel to the 2013 hit The Purge, The Purge: Anarchy follows an unlikely group of five citizens who, over the course of the night, find out just how far they will go to protect themselves and, ultimately, each other, as they fight to survive a night fraught with impossible decisions.

Returning alongside writer/director/producer James DeMonaco to produce the next chapter of the thriller are Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series), alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier (Assault on Precinct 13, Four Lovers) and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay (Pain & Gain, Transformers franchise), Brad Fuller (The Amityville Horror, A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Andrew Form (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th).

  1. My last meal would be a full Lobster Surf’n Turf with a bottle of Red Grape Shloer and a dessert of an Ice Cream and Strawberry Sundae.

  2. Surf n turf steak with garlic king prawns, steak cut chips, salad and roasted tomatoes,and a Glass of Zinfandel

  3. Lasagne and some a nice piece of apple pie made by my mum as she has mastered the most perfect pastry and mine goes all soggy and maybe some ice cream – might as well go for it as it’s the last meal.

  4. Prawn cocktail, steak, chips, onion rings and mushrooms followed by chocolate ice cream covered in raspberries and cream. Let’s face it, I probably won’t be worried about my calorie intake.

  5. I would probably eat all the foods that you wouldn’t normally eat all at once (e.g. doughnuts, pizza, chips…).

  6. Pizza, to be specific the chicago town takeaway spiced beef stuffed crust pizza!!!
    Mmmmm, I’d die happy with that in my tummy.

  7. My last meal would be lasagne, garlic bread, chocolate cheesecake & cookie dough ice cream, yum! 😀 x

  8. My Mum’s beef stroganoff with roast potatoes. Followed by Ben & Jerry’s “Peanut Butter Me Up” ice-cream.

  9. Definately a hot spicy curry that preferably plays total havoc with my guts…lots of garlic food. Hopefully the stench will keep me safe as no-one will want to come near me! 😉

  10. I’d choose a tender chicken breasts with a cheese and ham sauce, crusty bread and butter and a nice cold stella.

A spring vegetable soup with freshly made crusty rolls and real butter, followed by a Large Thick cut Sirloin Steak, with chips, mushrooms, fresh garden peas, fresh tomato, breaded onion rings, boiled little new potatoes, on a slice of lettuce, served with a peppercorn sauce and a side dessert spoonful of english mustard-the use of dipping in of, and a dessert of Golden Syrup sponge pudding covered in a nice custard- not too runny, but not so thick that it won’t run at all and needs chomping through with a knife!. 🙂

  12. My last meal would have to be a huge blowout consisting of the following.
    Spicey Parsnip soup with hot crutsty granary bread with salted butter.
    Crab Salad with mango, red pepper and sweet chilly sauce.
    Chicken breast stuffed with asparagus and mushrooms poached in a brandy and apricot sauce, served with baby potatoes and garden peas.
    Summer berries sponge pudding, served with hot and cold (homemade vanilla ice cream with hot custard).
    French Coffee served with a cheese board, oat cakes and grapes.
    To finish off dark chocolate after dinner mints.

  13. A chocolate and lamb vindaloo with saffron infused rice, onion bhajis and garlic naan bread witha bottle of Lagavulin

  14. It would have to be Tikka Masala, garlic nan bread and mushroom rice…. followed by Rhubarb Crumble and custard.

  15. A large catering sized bucket of baked beans and a tooth pick to eat them with .. I would make them last and last for a very long time by eating one bean at a time, and chewing each bean approx twenty times.
    I could be an old woman by the time I finished my last meal.

  16. For Starters i would have Lovely Prawn cocktail
    Then For main Roast Beef ,chicken, Roast Potatoes, Broccoli
    Carrots, Mash Potato, meat Gravy, Mint Sauce, Cranberry sauce with a nice glass of wine to wash it down
    For afters Apple Crumble and warm yummy custard
    QUALITY
    Of and don’t forget the Gin afterwards!!!!!!!

  18. well I’m coeliac and really miss bread and cakes so I think as I wouldnt have to suffer the after effects I would have some freshly baked warm bread with real butter and cheddar , a pasty with brown sauce and a bloody huge cake!

    It would be CHIPS, just chips and sauce.

    Maybe at a push some cheese and a pint of Cider. 😀

  21. My potentially ‘last’ meal on Purge night would be -watch out enemy! in the words of Hannibal Lector ” His liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti” “fuvf, fuvf, fuvf”
