I really enjoyed Nicholas Stoller’s comedy, Bad Neighbours, and I thought Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron were all perfectly cast in the film. It made me chuckle quite a bit, and it takes a lot for a comedy to make me laugh as I have a bit of an acquired taste when it comes to the funny stuff.
Does Bad Neighbours need a sequel though? Apparently it does…
In terms of the first film, we’ve all been there: the house next door becomes empty and then a van pulls up outside containing the new occupants and their furniture as you pray to God that they’re decent people.
Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne lead the cast of BAD NEIGHBOURS, a comedy about a young couple who are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby.
Bad Neighbours received mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences, and money talks, so when the adult comedy took $268.1 million worldwide, Universal were up for a sequel.
Movies.com revealed the first details, confirming that both director and cast would be returning:
Bad Neighbors director Nicholas Stoller is returning for the sequel, along with Rogen, Efron and Byrne. This time around, however, Rogen and Byrne enlist Efron’s help when a rowdy sorority moves in next door.
Bad Neighbours 2 has a release date set for 13th May 2016 in the US.
