Katee Sackhoff is no stranger to the horror genre. She has already appeared in last years superb chiller Oculus, plus a string of other genre title including White Noise 2, Halloween: Resurrection, Riddick and The Haunting in Connecticut 2. She is probably best known for starring in TV series Battlestar Galactica, but it would seem she is making the horror genre her home.
Sackhoff has now signed on to star in Don’t Knock Twice, an urban legend themed horror which is being compared to the likes of Candyman and The Ring.
Caradog James (The Machine, Little White Lies) is directing the film, which is heading to Cannes looking for buyers courtesy of Content Media.
James is directing Don’t Knock Twice from a script by Emmy nominated writing duo Mark Huckerby (Howl) and Nick Ostler (Howl).
The film is being produced by Red & Black Films’ John Giwa-Amu (The Machine, The Call Up) and Seymour Films’ Claire Moorsom. Content’s President of Film, Jamie Carmichael, serves as Executive Producer.
Principal photography will commence in July in the UK.
