It would have to be Zulu. This was one of the first battle films I ever saw and I watch it every time its on TV.
Any scene from Gladiator because it’s the best film set in Roman times and would be amazing dressing up with so much attention to detail and having a good old sword scrap
The battle of Stirling Bridge in Braveheart. The reason….we won!!
The finale of gladiator watching maximus kick ass
Doctor Zhivago, so I could meet Julie Christie.
A slightly unconventional choice but I’m going with Monty Python and the Holy Grail because it’s hilarious and I’m sure the extras had a lot of fun on set!
Stormtrooper in star wars, I like the uniform! WHAT!!
oliver cromwell because i believe he was a good man that had the good of the ordinary people behind his motives
It would be Gladiator – Love the Romans and that period of history
it would have to be Zulu as i have had a crush on Michael Caine since i was a little girl 😳
300 it looked like fun
Obviously being on the winning side helps enormously…so I’d love to be in the fight with the 300 Spartans until near the end when things go a little pear shaped, then I’d be the one who leaves to go home and sing and tell stories to hand down through the ages of how mighty we all were in battle! 😉
I would love to be an extra in Spartacus.
It would be zulu. Apparently they used thousands of extras and it would be fun trying to spot myself!!!
gladiator he kicks ass
Considering the anniversary coming up it would be Waterloo (1970) Truly Epic battle scenes with real extras (no CGI here), hundreds of horses charging, cannon and musket fire roaring away, and the chance to wear an iconic redcoat and wield a Brown Bess. No contest.
definitely gladiator
The Alamo – that cat was amazing.
Oops, that was supposed to say cast not cat
Zulu, love a song-song!
Gladiator, would love to use a sword.
Braveheart – epic!
Enemy at the Gates. A classic, very few attempt to show the Soviet war where they defeated two thirds of the German forces, only the old and infirm fought on the Western front.
Gladiator, it looked pretty epic
The Battle of Trafalgar, just so i could hear Nelson say “kiss me hardy” (or not)
Troy! I’m an Ancient History graduate and do love the story of Troy. I’ve even been to the alleged site!
Gladiator so I could as an extra sit and watch the action.
Can’t say I’d much good in a battle as I’m only a woman 🙄 but I could help nurse the wounded in Saving Private Ryan, us girls love a man in uniform 😛
Braveheart so I could cheer on Mel Gibson getting sliced and diced
Has to be Troy as love the whole era
Battle of the Bulge – would love to have been a passenger in the car in the opening scenes. And Tiger tanks were the best looking tanks ever built
It would have to be Zulu.A classic piece of cinematography and epic battle scenes!
Between 43 and 45 CE, Boudicca a celebrated Celtic queen, wife, and mother was married to Prasutagus, King of the Iceni located in East Anglia at ‘Venta’ (just down the road from me). When Prasutagus died, Boudicca’s daughters were said to have been brutally attacked by the Romans, and Boudicca set out in battle to protect her country and avenge her daughters. She marched to Colchester with her rebel army and was savagely cut down by roman swords and javelins- I would like to be an extra in this same battle. This was truly a brave woman trying to strike the ‘Sword of Vengeance’ for her daughters and protecting her country.
Gladiator – lots of eye candy so you would never be bored when you have to hang around!!!!
Braveheart….patriotism
Braveheart – just for the rallying speech 🙂
Not a film but I’d love to be in Vikings strong female characters and ragnar lothbrooke is rather delicious
Waterloo, great battle scenes
Wouldn’t mind being in Braveheart, on either side actually.
Buffy the Vampire slayer…..I’d love to be a slayer !
GLADIATOR- atmospheric and amazing action
I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to battle so it would be Braveheart but I’d be hiding in the bushes!
300 The battles looked amazing and a fight against the odds is always good
300, brilliant cinematography
Braveheart – it is such a magnificent film
300 as it’s so cool!
It would be Gladiator – really enjoy reading about the Romans
Enemy at the Gates, if only to star alongside the beautiful Rachel Weisz
A Roman epic like Gladiator
Braveheart, for the speech
braveheart when william wallace gives his big speech you go !!
Difficult one, but sticking with the idea of ‘period battle’ I would go with ‘The Charge of the Light Brigade’ (1968) because it’s just such an iconic battle (and loss!).
Gladiator as like the weapons they used.
Braveheart.. so I could show my bare bum! hahah
Braveheart, but my husband would have to show his hairy arse instead lol would like to separate fact from fiction!!
Gladiator was awesome
Braveheart – epic!
Spartacus – great scenes
Gladiator 🙂
Gladiator it is one of my all time favourite films!
ZULU so that I could die a hero and hear some of those classic lines.
I vote for Gladiator!
It would have to be 300 for me… it looked ace!
