BatWhilst I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, nothing can beat a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. I don't do 3D movies so put the red and green spex away!

  1. The group in the original Final Destination, because the deaths and the way they try and prevent them is entertaining

  2. The Goonies. What an adventure they went on.

  3. The Griswolds in the National Lampoon series – films I watch over and over again as they’re hilarious, and the family are all very likeable characters

  4. Stand By Me – amazing film!

  5. The goonies great film

  6. the goonies that was fab and still is

  7. The Hangover, they seem like the type of people I would get into sticky situations in

  8. The Scary Movie Gang because they are soo funny and they take all the scres in their stride

  9. The friends from The Hangover series, you’d have thought they would learn but blunder on regardless.

  10. Stand By Me – STUNNING film!

  11. If you count 2 as a group then it’s got to be the two girls from the Japanese film “Kamikaze Girls” – a quirky film with such a mismatched pair that you’s never think they could become friends

  12. I like those pesky kids with Scooby Doo 😆

  13. The Hangover guys. They talk as much rubbish as my friends and I do

  14. the Scooby doo gang

  15. The T-birds and Pink Ladies in Grease. Because it’s Grease and it’s my guilty pleasure 🙂

  16. Shaun of the Dead – they argue and take the mickey out of each other.

  17. ‘Tremors’ I really enjoyed it even if it was a tad tongue-in-cheek. It’s probably the monster movie with the LOWEST all time kill rate as I think everyone survived? 😉

  18. Paul – great road movie.

  19. The Big Lebowski took bad taste to a whole other level.

  20. I’m going to go with Brody, Quint and Hooper on board the Orca in Jaws. Starting off, certainly anything but friends, but by the time that some drink enhance singing begins a little grudging respect is beginning to show. If only they had brought a bigger boat!

  21. shaun of the dead

  22. The Goonies! so very funny

  23. Well, it’s gotta be Columbus, Wichita, Tallahassee and Little Rock from Zombieland who make such a good end of the world group of people. And then briefly throw in Bill *bleeping* Murray and it’s pure perfection 🙂

  24. The Lost Boys.

  25. Napoleon, Pedro and Deb in Napoleon Dynamite because they are sweet and funny.

  31. Stand by me – my favourite film!

  32. Cabin in the woods, they are just so clueless it’s great!

  33. One Crazy Summer – goofy 80s John Cusack film – a misfit gang band together against the overlording snobby rich guy and his son trying to develop an island. It not very deep but I love it!

  49. Meet the Fockers

  50. It has to be Cabin Fever for me! A happy group of friends set off for a weekend in a log cabin in the woods…..can only mean one thing…..disaster! What I love about this movie, is that there is no evil serial killer, no ghosts, goblins or poltergeists, no zombies or dead things creeping about in the night, but a deadly contagious fever! Brilliant viewing!

  51. Stand by Me. So moving.
