The Season One Finale of The Flash was a mouth watering climatic shocker that has got fans eagerly awaiting its return later in the year, so what has Comic-Con been telling us to expect when Season 2 finally arrives.

First of all, episode 2 will begin a few months after the events which saw the world of Barry Allen as we knew, on the verge of changing for good!.

Also the glimpse of that “Helmet” which belonged to the original “Flash” has proved to now be significant with Teddy Sears taking on the role of Jay Garrick.  While not as fast Barry Allen, its being said that Garrick will come through to Barry’s dimension to warn him about a threat to the universe.

There will be a lot of new faces as the series picks up, with characters from Earth-Two being introduced.  Andrew Kriesberg, another executive producer on the series, revealed that the villain of season two will be Professor Zoom and that Wally West (Kid Flash) will be introduced this season.  Zoom in particular is interesting as he is faster than The Flash or the Reverse-Flash, affecting time itself to slow down everything around him. Separate from the Speed Force, his abilities make him nearly impossible to catch.

As for Barry himself, not only will he get a new design suit, but also have a new power….involving lightening……..but that is all that is being said at the moment.

Also Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Harrison Wells/Reverse-Flash) is returning full time but looks like its going to be an alternative universe version….

“Wells and Barry won’t be interacting at all, right out of the gate. Wells is on the show, but we’re introducing the multiverse concept so that’s why he still exists somewhere.”  explained Grant Gustin, speaking on the Comic-Con panel.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
