fantastic

The final trailer for Josh Trank’s Fantastc Four has now been released, and with comes a whole bunch of new footage.

We get speeches about togetherness and strength in numbers, we get threats and menace from the key villain Doom, but most of all we get a whopping collection of some really impressive action sequences. Looking at this, it is clear that Trank has easily made the transition from low budget found footage indie (Chronicle) to a massive superhero film, and while there seems to be a lot of doubt surrounding this fim, I for one am loving the look of it.

Directed by Josh Trank, Fantastic Four stars Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Miles Teller as Reed Richards and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm.

Fantastic Four arrives in UK cinemas on 6th August.

Synopsis:

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
