Most Arrow fans will admit that Season 3 was hit and miss.   The mid season finale of Oliver apparently dead from his showdown with Ra’s al Ghul was explosive TV, but when it came back, the show never lived up to the hype. the resolution made too easy for the viewers who were expecting something much, much more!

Its well known that its own spin off The Flash has overtaken its parent show for popularity, and there does seem a determined focus by the writers to make sure season 4 is back to the quality we expect.

And this is a good start!

Mentioned in the finale as an enemy of the now deceased Ra’s al Ghul,  “Justified” and “Suits” star Neal McDonough has joined the cast as the evil Damien Darhk and Oliver Queen should be worried.

Described by the writers of Arrow as  “a mysterious and sophisticated villain, and an adversary of the late Ra’s al Ghul. Now the leader of his own clandestine group, this cunning foe will prove to be one of the Arrow’s greatest challenges.”

Damien also has links to H.I.V.E, another organisation mentioned a few times and linked to John Diggle’s quest for his murdered brother.

Is this the reason Oliver don’s the green again and gives up his now quiet life with Felicity?

We find out on Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00pm.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
