‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ preps for South Africa shoot

The last update we have on the sixth Resident Evil film, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, was back in January as Milla Jovovich was about to give birth. In her message to fans she revealed that the film was planning an August shoot this year.

With a release date still penciled in for September 2nd 2016, an August shoot seemed likely as the film really does need to get moving.

Well, it has now been confirmed that preparations are in place for the shoot, which will take place in South Africa, as Jovovich posted an image on Instagram yesterday. The image shows Jovovich as Alice, having a face cast made, and she also confirms that she’s flying to South Africa today to start prepping the shoot.

Happy days!

The working title of the film is Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and will see Jovovich return as Alice, with her husband Paul W.S. Anderson returning to direct. Also expect to see the return of Wentworth Miller’s character, Chris Redfield.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
