koko-the-mighty

Titan Books have announced they’ll be publishing KOKO THE MIGHTY on paperback on 28th August 2015.

Koko is back! Kieran Shea’s lean mean fighting machine is ready for action in the second novel of the Koko series, following on from the explosive events of Koko Takes a Holiday.

After narrowly escaping death, Koko Martstellar (ex-corporate mercenary) and Jedidiah Flynn (depressed former sky-cop) are busy putting their lives back together. They have returned to The Sixty Islands — the world’s most violent and decadent resort, to run a saloon / brothel. But when bounty agent Jackie Wire comes to collect the price on Koko’s head, it’s time for her and Flynn to make tracks via the nearest submarine. Things only go from bad to worse for our heroes… but, hey, that’s the 26th century for you.

Buckle up, buttercup. Only the mighty survive.

Kieran Shea’s fiction has appeared in many publications including Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Thuglit, Dogmatika, Crimefactory and Needle: A Magazine of Noir. He has been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice. He divides his time between Annapolis, Maryland and Ocean City, New Jersey. His debut novel Koko Takes a Holiday was published to critical acclaim in 2014.

Bat

BatI love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Silent Hill
