Showtime have released an impressive teaser trailer for the return of one of the best shows on TV, Homeland.

I thought that season 4 was astonishing, and while the final episode was slightly disappointing considering the levels of brilliance displayed previously in the series, by the looks of things Season 5 intends to turn up the intensity.

Carrie (Claire Danes) looks to be in a whole heap of trouble here, and not only that there appears to be further conflicts between her and Saul (Mandy Patinkin), and thankfully its good to see Quinn (Rupert Friend) back too.

Homeland returns to Showtime in the Autumn.

Showtime described Season 5 as such:

The series will pick up two years after Carrie Mathison’s ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the “war on terror,” Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist.

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
