One of those gimmicky audience reaction trailers has been released for Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno, and you can check it out below.
I don’t really buy in to these audience reaction trailers at all, and it often seems like the audience have rarely seen a horror film, but to some these video can be a bit of fun, so enjoy if you please.
Roth told Yahoo:
“I want people to see The Green Inferno and say, ‘I’ve never seen anything like that in a movie theater before.
What I am most proud of is [The Green Inferno] looks and feels authentic. I used to think Cannibal Holocaust was real, even knowing it was a movie, it just looked and felt like these people really existed. That’s what I wanted in The Green Inferno: The village has to look and feel like a real, functioning society.”
Eli Roth directs, co-writes and produces The Green Inferno, which arrives in US cinemas on 25th September. The cast includes Lorenza Isso, Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara, and Kirby Bliss Blanton.
From acclaimed horror director Eli Roth, THE GREEN INFERNO follows a group of student activists who travel from New York City to the Amazon to save the rain forest. However, once they arrive in this vast green landscape, they soon discover that they are not alone… and that no good deed goes unpunished.
Dark and primitive customs still rule the Amazon jungle: cannibalism and other mind, body and soul-destroying rituals. Trapped in the village, these high-tech modern-world students experience the ultimate in primal barbaric terror, suffering unspeakable acts of violence in an intense and chilling rituals reserved only for the most threatening intruders.
