hell

The animation studio behind Robot Chicken and Bojack Horseman have made a hilarious looking feature film called Hell and Back, and I am delighted to share the trailer here.

The comedy sounds near perfect here, and with the mixture of horror elements with a know your genre sense of comedic writing, Hell and Back looks like an huge amount of fun. The voice talent all sound perfect for their roles, and there were a number of moments in this trailer where I genuinely laughed out loud.

Hell and Back is directed by Tom Gianas and Ross Shuman, and was written by Hugh Sterbakov and Zeb Wells. The voice talents include Mila Kunis, T.J. Miller, Michael Pena, Susan Sarandon, Paul Scheer, Rob Riggle and Bob Odenkirk. The film arrives in US cinemas on 9th October, no UK dates have been announced yet.

Synopsis:

In the outrageous R rated animated comedy from the Animation studio that brought you “Robot Chicken,” “Triptank” and “Bojack Horseman,” three friends embark on a wayward journey into the deepest, darkest depths of hell to rescue one of their own. While navigating their escape, they provoke a slew of misfit demons, a super sexy angel, infamous Greek legends, and the Devil himself; Hell has never been hotter!

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
