A new trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s (Prisoners, Enemy) new thriller Sicario has been released, and the film continues to look incredible.

Looking like an even more intense version of Steven Soderbergh’s classic drug thriller Traffic, Sicario is one of my most anticipated films of the year. It has a great cast, an intense story and one of the most talented directors around at the helm. Nothing can go wrong.

Sicario, written by Taylor Sheridan, is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Enemy). The cast includes Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro and Jon Bernthal.

The arrives in UK cinemas on 9th October 2015.

In Mexico, SICARIO means hitman.

In the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico, an idealistic FBI agent [Emily Blunt] is enlisted by an elite government task force official [Josh Brolin] to aid in the escalating war against drugs.

Led by an enigmatic consultant with a questionable past [Benicio Del Toro], the team sets out on a clandestine journey forcing Kate to question everything that she believes in order to survive.

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
