A new trailer has arrived for the thrilling true story, Everest, and at the beginning of the trailer we hear the words “welcome to the most dangerous place on Earth”

The trailer then proceeds to bombard the viewer with one moment of tense and thrilling action after another, hinting to the fact that Everest could be one of the best tales of survival to land in cinemas for quite some time.

Everest is the incredible true story written by Mark Medoff (Children of a Lesser God), Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog MIllionaire), Lem Dobbs, Justin Isbell and William Nicholson. Baltasar Kormakur (2 Guns) directs, and the cast includes Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sam Worthington, Robin Wright, Emily Watson, and Keira Knightley.

The film climbs into cinemas on 25th September.

Inspired by the incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, EVEREST documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival. Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
