Fearing their daughter could be possessed, the parents call in a priest to perform an exorcism, but when that goes horribly wrong, the parents start to wonder if they will ever be able to rid their daughter of the evil power lurking within her?

BatWhilst I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, nothing can beat a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. I don't do 3D movies so put the red and green spex away!

  2. Definitely Rosemarys Baby, those eyes those eyes !!

  3. proxy as it provoked feelings and fear , and it was a tie with the slightly corny Hand That Rocks Cradle that puts you off nannies

  4. This may not be popular but I actually thought the ‘alien’ pregnancy from Prometheus was pretty grim. My wife (5 children) left the film at that stage, so I had to come back on my own for a second screening.

  5. Has to be Rosemary’s Baby because the baby/monster/devil is so weird

  6. I liked that weird film where the female alien keeps having sex with people but can’t recall what it was called – began with an S??? other than that Rosemarys baby was very creepy

  7. Rosemarys baby. it’s one of my earliest recollections of an horror film and i can still remember the story really well. In fact i’m going to download and watch again

  19. Rosemary’s Baby, but I have to agree that The Hand That Rocks The Cradle is really creepy!

  20. The Unborn, because it is an interesting concept.

  21. The only one I could thing of is Alien, which really isn’t a horror. I like the ripping from the chest. I haven’t saw Rosemary’s baby so I’ve added that to my watch list.

  22. Rosemary’s Baby – a paranoia-fuelled Polanski classic, with a tremendous performance from Mia Farrow

  23. Rosemary’s Baby: As far as I know the original “Pregnancy Horror” and still the best. Still shocks and I can have some pretty strange dreams after watching it. Fantastically Fearful.

  43. Rosemary’s baby its just so freaky 😉

  44. Don’t know if it counts as a ‘horror’ pregnancy but watching the cute lizard like alien baby pop out of his human mummy’s tummy and gurn at the camera in the original series of ‘V’ had me in stitches, then in tears after he sadly died – all of which is rather an odd co-incidence as it convinced me that cesarean sections weren’t for me when I had my little boy 😉

  45. Spanish horror film Inside (A I’interieur, 2007). My friend’s don’t take any more horror recommendations from me after I told them to watch this film, pretty horrific but I thought it was brilliant.
