So a short while ago Bill Murray was announced as having a cameo role in Paul Feigs all-female Ghostbusters, and he joins the already confirmed returning Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd (also in a cameo role). Now two more from the original film have been confirmed for cameo parts.

Ernie Hudson, who played Winston “if there’s a steady pay cheque in it, I’ll believe anything you say” Zeddemore in the original film, has been confirmed for a cameo in the new Ghostbusters film. It has also just been confirmed that Annie Potts, who played loud mouth receptionist Janine Melnitz, will also be appearing for a small role.

No details have been revealed for either of the cameos, but this now has everyone coming back for a brief stint in Feigs film. There is also talk of filming taking place in the original Ghostbusters firehouse.

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will star in director Paul Feigs “Ghostbusters” reboot.

Ivan Reitman is producing.

The film is set to open in cinemas on 15th July 2016.

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
