Paul Feig, the director of the all-female Ghostbusters reboot, has had enough of the hate, and in all honesty, who can blame him. The film has been attacked left, right and centre by fans of the original film who simply don’t get the reboot at all, and I must admit I am one of those haters.

I keep my comments here, but a huge amount of hate has been directed at Feig on his Twitter feed, and it seems he has had one complaint too many. He cracked and responded, often aggressively, to those hating on his ridiculous sounding reboot. Fair play to Feig though for keeping his cool for so long (there is a LOT of hate for this film), but below you can view some of his responses. It makes for often hilarious reading:

He he, some of those responses are really funny, and while some may complain not very professional, let’s remember that Feig has been receiving thousands of hate messages every week, so it was only a matter of time before he cracked!

He did apologise to those looking forward to the film:

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are all on board with the reboot, and are planning cameos.

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will star in director Paul Feigs “Ghostbusters” reboot.

Ivan Reitman is producing.

The film is set to open in cinemas on 15th July 2016.

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
