The first trailer for horror sequel, I Spit on Your Grave: Vengeance is Mine has just arrived, and you can view the one minute teaser below.

As expected its filled with plenty of revenge talk and bloodthirsty violence, and it looks like there will be no actual rape going on here, just a woman hell bent on revenge. Jennifer Hills (Sarah Butler) looks like a one woman killing machine searching out all those who have put others through what she went through in the remake, and it actually looks like a worthy sequel.

Anchor Bay will release the film in the US cinemas on 9th October, and then on DVD, Blu-ray and VOD on 20th October. The film will be released here in the UK on DVD and Blu-ray on 26th October.

Sarah Butler, who starred in the remake of the classic rape revenge film, reprises her role in this third film as Jennifer.

I Spit On Your Grave: Vengeance is Mine is directed by R.D. Braunstein, and the cast includes Sarah Butler, Jennifer Landon (“The Young and the Restless”), Doug McKeon and Gabriel Hogan (“Heartland”).

Jennifer Hills (Sarah Butler) is still tormented by the brutal sexual assault she endured years ago (I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2010). She’s changed identities and cities, reluctantly joining a support group where she begins to piece together a new life. But when her new friend’s murderer goes free and the tales of serial rapists haunt her, Jennifer will hunt down the men responsible and do what the system won’t – make them pay for their crimes in the most horrific ways imaginable. Only this time, no jury may be able to save her.

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
