Win a copy of Blood Moon on DVD!

It’s cowboys vs the wolfman in this bloody horror-western. Re-imaging the werewolf as the Native Americans’ mythical “skinwalker”, the film sees a stagecoach of passengers, gunslingers and outlaws terrorized by the bloodthirsty beast. With a great cast, fun prosthetic effects, it’s a true horror and weird western gem.

Blood Moon is out on DVD from 5th October 2015.

For your chance to win BLOOD MOON on DVD, simply comment below telling us which film you’d think would be spiced up with the addition of werewolves and why.

Bat

BatI love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Silent Hill

  1. Wizard of Oz. Well it has lions, flying monkeys and witches already so why not. Actually, second thoughts, it would be over the top!!!

  2. The Chronicles Of Narnia.

The Lion, The Witch, The wardrobe and The werewolf!!!!!!!!

  3. High Noon, just imagine that Will Kane had to face down a gang of werewolves instead of Frank Miller’s gang?

  4. I think that the film Bambi should have werewolves in it because it would make things more interesting as it would be scarier and the plot would have more identifiable characters that can be seen and heard to give a bigger range of good and bad characters and slightly more character complexity for an older audience.

  5. Mary Poppins – they could be used to keep dancing chimney sweeps off the roof!

  6. How about Rambo. He’s taken on and beaten Russians, Vietkong, and corrupt police and US Army Reservists but Werewolves would be a different kind of challenge

  7. How about The Blue Lagoon, could make it more interesting!

  8. Groundhog Day, then he would live forever

  9. what about Pirates of the Caribbean they could become crew members

  10. The Lord of the Rings – they’d make short work of the Orcs

  11. Frozen – preferably to eat the princesses

  12. The Magnificent Seven. Instead of the Mexican bandits picking them off one by one they could be werewolves instead.

  13. Alien – Imagine a werewolf going against an Alien – Awesome!

  14. The (Were) Wolf of Wall Street, it would be a howl.

  15. Alien v Predator to add another little kink!

  16. The sound of music maybe give it a heavy metal soundtrack as they run through the fields

  17. The Sound of Music – wouldn’t it be good if every time one of them burst into song a werewolf devoured one of them

  18. Grease as Danny would suit being one 🙂

  19. The Blues Brothers – singing & dancing werewolves yeh!!

  20. In my opinion, Werewolves should be introduced into 50 Shades of Grey. Only then would I consider watching it on the off chance that the Werewolf goes on a rampage.

  21. The latest Maze Runner film was a bit of a disappointment – the addition of some rampaging and bloodthirsty werewolves may have improved it!

  22. the lion king

  23. a million ways to die in the wild west – a werewolf would make it a million and one!

  24. Kill Bill, I think a few werewolves would add to the film, rather than take away from it.

  25. The Expendables would be a good film for werewolves because they seem to be the same story but with different faces so i think werewolves would spice it up a bit

  26. The Good The Bad & The (Ugly) Werewolf, Clint Eastwood fighting a werewolf would have been absolutely amazing to watch.

  27. CINDERELLA

With eaten feet she could not fi tthe shoe

  28. Titanic, would make it more watchable!

  29. snow white

  30. Pitch Perfect – because their howling would just add a little something to the harmony.

  31. I fancy taking on Alien

  32. Snow White and the Seven Werewolves, can you imagine that wicked queen legging it with 7 werewolves chasing her?

  33. The ‘Fast and Furious’ films, so the werewolves can kill off the cast and we won’t have to put up with any more of those films cluttering up the film screens.

  34. Twilight. With additional werewolves, maybe they’d kill all the vampires and would not need any of the sequels.

  35. Werewolves and Ghost rider!

  36. Bridget Jones Diary – Would have made the film watchable with werewolves.

  37. The Lady and The Tramp…all that lovey dovey pooch action is great but throw in a couple of werewolves and the sinister level doubles (it’s already has the screy cats!) 😉

  38. Alien,what a combo that would be!

  39. frozen to make it more gruseome

  40. Frozen, might make it slightly more bearable…

  41. notting hill. that would be great!

  42. Educating Rita and Michael Caine would be the werewolf but he likes Rita and tries so hard not to bite her.

  43. Avatar I’ve never gotten to the end without a snooze

  44. Freddy Vs Jason Vs Werewolf. Would be a real bloodthirsty horror.

  45. mary poppins

  46. Nightmare on Elm Street – They could be Freddy’s pets

  47. Cloudy with a chance of werewolves

  48. Hot Fuzz, would be zombies eaten by werewolves.

  53. Debbie Does Dallas….

  54. The Notebook, so they all just get mutilated

  55. FROZEN

  56. Spice girls the movie, oh the joy of watching the wolves do their stuff 🙂

  57. Rocky because we have had hulk hogan, mr T, now we need Rocky to face a werewolf 🙂

  58. Beauty and the beast – have a real best in it instead of that cartoon character!!

  59. The Wedding Planner – the premise, the acting, the cheese – the werewolves wouldn’t go hungry! I’d be cheering them on 😉

  60. Planet of the apes- and werewolves

  61. Gladiator werewolves would make it so much more interesting as i found it to be a boring film – Gladiators fighting werewolves I would love to see

  62. Transformers. Robots v werewolves – who wouldn’t wanna see that?

  63. United Passions could do with some werewolves!

  64. 28 Days Later just to add to the mayhem!

  65. The Expendables – just because!!

  66. Doctor dolittle as i would love someone to translate what goes on in a werewolves mind

  67. Top Gun, that would knock Maverick right off his perch!

  68. Any film with Russell Brand in it – there must be lots of long lingering gore shots of Russell being killed horribly by said werewolves.

  69. Frost/Nixon. The two adversaries have to team up to survive. Who wouldn’t want to see a double-pistol armed Nixon do a slow-mo barrel roll?

  70. I love somebody else’s idea about Wizard of Oz. That would make it more interesting indeed!

  71. Bugsy Malone as I cant stand it, anything would be better than the original!! lol
