Win BLOOD MOON on DVD In Our Competition!

Win a copy of Blood Moon on DVD!

It’s cowboys vs the wolfman in this bloody horror-western. Re-imaging the werewolf as the Native Americans’ mythical “skinwalker”, the film sees a stagecoach of passengers, gunslingers and outlaws terrorized by the bloodthirsty beast. With a great cast, fun prosthetic effects, it’s a true horror and weird western gem.

Blood Moon is out on DVD from 5th October 2015.

I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

  1. Wizard of Oz. Well it has lions, flying monkeys and witches already so why not. Actually, second thoughts, it would be over the top!!!

  2. I think that the film Bambi should have werewolves in it because it would make things more interesting as it would be scarier and the plot would have more identifiable characters that can be seen and heard to give a bigger range of good and bad characters and slightly more character complexity for an older audience.

  3. How about Rambo. He’s taken on and beaten Russians, Vietkong, and corrupt police and US Army Reservists but Werewolves would be a different kind of challenge

  4. The Magnificent Seven. Instead of the Mexican bandits picking them off one by one they could be werewolves instead.

  5. The Sound of Music – wouldn’t it be good if every time one of them burst into song a werewolf devoured one of them

  6. In my opinion, Werewolves should be introduced into 50 Shades of Grey. Only then would I consider watching it on the off chance that the Werewolf goes on a rampage.

  7. The latest Maze Runner film was a bit of a disappointment – the addition of some rampaging and bloodthirsty werewolves may have improved it!

  8. The Expendables would be a good film for werewolves because they seem to be the same story but with different faces so i think werewolves would spice it up a bit

  9. The Good The Bad & The (Ugly) Werewolf, Clint Eastwood fighting a werewolf would have been absolutely amazing to watch.

  10. The ‘Fast and Furious’ films, so the werewolves can kill off the cast and we won’t have to put up with any more of those films cluttering up the film screens.

  11. Twilight. With additional werewolves, maybe they’d kill all the vampires and would not need any of the sequels.

  12. The Lady and The Tramp…all that lovey dovey pooch action is great but throw in a couple of werewolves and the sinister level doubles (it’s already has the screy cats!) 😉

  13. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – you don’t see Willy Wonka very often…maybe he’s got a dark secret he’s trying to hide within the walls of the factory…

  14. The Wedding Planner – the premise, the acting, the cheese – the werewolves wouldn’t go hungry! I’d be cheering them on 😉

  15. Gladiator werewolves would make it so much more interesting as i found it to be a boring film – Gladiators fighting werewolves I would love to see

  16. Any film with Russell Brand in it – there must be lots of long lingering gore shots of Russell being killed horribly by said werewolves.

  17. Frost/Nixon. The two adversaries have to team up to survive. Who wouldn’t want to see a double-pistol armed Nixon do a slow-mo barrel roll?

  18. Frozen… Let’s make let it go a little more gore. It deserves it with how much we’ve all had to listen to that song!
