The first trailer for Brazilian horror Cabrito has arrived, and you can check it out below, and good luck trying to figure out what the hell is going on. It looks dam good though.

The trailer features a seriously sinister chap in a freakishly creepy mask, lots of animal carcasses, talk of Satan, some prayers and lots of dark and delicious horror.

No official synopsis has been released, only a quote from the book of Deuteronomy, which you can read below. The English translation for Cabrito is a roast goat kid, and the common preparation sees the whole carcass split open and impaled on a spit.

The film is directed by Luciano de Azevedo.

Here’s the quote from the Vimeo page with the trailer:

”And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:”
Deuteronomy 28 : 53

Matt WavishA keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
