31

In a not much of a surprise bit of news,  Rob Zombie’s new horror 31, has been given the highest age rating all because of the violence and gore nature……….not much of a shock is it!

Zombie himself is not happy as he has put through the film twice with edits in hope to get the rating down but to no avail.

“Well, after two tries through the MPAA our rating on 31 remains NC-17,” Zombie explained. “Maybe three is the charm to get an R rating. Why R you ask? Well, because your local theater will not show an NC-17. Even though you are a fucking adult… things [must] be censored for your enjoyment.”

He has a point though and despite the mess he made of Halloween, his other horror films have been as gory and violent as possible, much like the old style 70’s flicks of the past!

The 31 synopsis sounds great as well……

Five friends are kidnapped on the day before Halloween and are held hostage in a terrifying place named Murder World. While trapped, they must play a violent game called 31, in which the mission is to survive 12 hours against a gang of evil clowns.

The films stars as usual… Sheri Moon Zombie with Malcolm McDowell, Richard Brake, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Meg Foster.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
