Joe Sherlock has launched his own crowdfunding campaign on his website to fund his new horror anthology movie BEYOND THE WALL OF FEAR.

In his mocked-up version of Kickstarter and Indiegogo, which he calls kickstartmyindieskullfacegogogo, Sherlock has a list of packages to choose from to help him complete his vision.

“If you’ve followed me for a bit, you know I never quite do things the conventional way,” Sherlock says, “I’ve done DVD pre-order campaigns for my last couple of releases like DRIFTER and ODD NOGGINS and it was fun putting together various packages for people to choose from.”

“With BEYOND THE WALL OF FEAR, I decided to start the DVD pre-order campaign early, while the movie is about 2/3 done – this will allow people to get their names in the credits and I’ve put together a bunch of snazzy packages to choose from.”

“For my latest horror anthology, I’ve got six segments already shot, with a few more to go. Nightmares, secret experiments, flesh-munching, urban legends, sexy witches, creepy fishmen and the creeping unknown are just a few things you’ll find BEYOND THE WALL OF FEAR.”

Award-winning indie horror filmmaker Joe Sherlock is a veteran of over 30 feature and anthology films. Writing, directing, shooting, editing and scoring most of his own projects, Sherlock’s extensive body of work includes “Drifter,” “Blood Creek Woodsman,” “Bloodsucking Redneck Vampires” and “Twisted Fates,” which have been screened at festivals, conventions and cool theater pubs across North America. His work as director of photography for other indie directors include “Dead Ink,” “The Evilmaker” and “Platoon of the Dead.” An accomplished illustrator, Sherlock’s graphic novel “Demonized” was published in fall 2015. Cult movie expert Joe Bob Briggs comments, “Drive-In Academy Award nominations for Joe Sherlock, the writer/director/composer/editor, for doing things the drive-in way.”

Bat

BatI love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Silent Hill
