mama

It may have divided opinion at the HCF Office but Mama was a surprise box office hit in 2013 and it now seems that Universal are pushing ahead for a sequel.

Even though I was one of those who thought Mama was “OK!”, I am intrigued by this bit of news as its been announced that Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch are in discussions to direct the sequel which brings my excitement levels up a tiny notch.

Why?  Well its the same duo who directed the quite brilliant Starry Eyes (if you have missed it, get on Netflix right now) and it be interesting to see what they can bring to what will no doubt be their first big screen horror outing.

There is no word if Guillermo del Toro will return in the role of Executive Producer.

More as we get it!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
