Even though Face/Off runs it a close second, Die Hard will always be my favourite action film of all time and even though the last sequel was an abomination and an insult to the original classic, I still hope that any planned further sequels will live up to my expectations of a film worthy of its title.

Die Hard 6 was recently announced as a sort of prequel/sequel with a young John McClane and a supposed mere cameo from Bruce Willis set in the now.

How that was going to work and appeal to fans is anyone’s guess as Willis is the franchise and he surely needs a hit just as bad as John McClane needs another good/bad day!

Returning director Len Wiseman who sat in the chair for the decent Live Free or Die Hard has confirmed that Willis will be in the new film much more than first thought.

“He will be more present than that. This character of course is modern day and the origin story if you can call it that has ramifications on present day McClane. What it’s not is it’s not a cameo bookend scenario. It’s a prequel/sequel hybrid that I really haven’t seen before and is incredibly different.”

So there you have it…..Looper goes all Die Hard on us!……..Lets all wait and see!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
