No matter how much everyone expected Star Wars: The Force Awakens to do well, Disney must be thrilled at the box office takings of the new instalment that has won massive fan and critical acclaim.

Insiders are predicating that after this weekend, the new JJ Abrams sort of reboot will storm past Avatar’s box office crown and become the biggest box office hit and proving the case that Disney was right to buy the rights off the creator George Lucas.

The film has already overtaken domestic box office leaders “Titanic” with its $658.7 million and “Jurassic World” and its $652 million, with the film expecting to beat the James Cameron’s epic total of  $760.5 million in the next 48 hours.

No pressure on the next film which is due out in 2018.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
