How is this for some early morning news?

Remember the 2007 monster film Cloverfield which has won a massive cult following?  Well we having a sequel and we don’t have to wait two years for it either.  This is not an announcement of a planned film because its already been filmed, its all set for release and we even have a trailer for you.

I know you won’t be interested in the rest of this article and just scroll down to the trailer, so I keep this light, but JJ Abrams has pulled off a huge surprise by attaching the said trailer to the released Michael Bay’s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

Given that there has been no news story of a possible sequel, this has taken everyone by surprise and shock but what a way to play the Hollywood game for the fans.

The film which is brilliantly called  10 Cloverfield Lane stars Don Goodman and is the mystery project directed by Dan Trachtenberg.

10 Cloverfield Lane / Cloverfield 2 opens in theaters March 2016.

This has been confirmed but we have more news for it.  Firstly its not Found Footage…..but a “blood relative” which suggests not a direct sequel.

Abrams has released a statement!

“The idea came up a long time ago during production. We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield. The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible.”

So there you have it….

Excited much?

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
