In what seems a bit of sense by Paramount Pictures, the long awaited The Ring sequel “Rings” is being moved from its original 1st of April release to a more sensible Halloween date.

The second sequel stars Alex Roe as Holt, a young man who begins to become distant from his Julia (Matilda Lutz), after watching the infamous deadly videotape.   “The Big Bang Theory” star Johnny Galecki will co-star in the film

Its been nearly 11 years since the last Ring film, based on the J Horror masterpiece Ringu, and it be interesting to see if there is still an appetite for the now whole new horror generation.

Moving it to the Halloween date makes more sense as there stands a more chance of this being seen in October than in April.

The release date is now October 28th.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
