I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Silent Hill

  1. The one that saves Brian when he falls from the tower trying to escape the Romans in Life of Brian, because it is reserved for “lucky bastards”.

  2. Before its destruction I would have liked to have travelled on The Prometheus other than that it would The Starship Enterprise Alpha

  3. I would love to travel on the spacecraft in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy – because it looked like so much fun and not too scary!!

  4. I would love to travel on the spaceship from Flight of the Navigator as I would live to travel forward in time to see what it is like

  5. It would have to be the classic Millenium Falcon. I would have speed, weapons and shields. Don’t forget my hyperdrive and funky interior, both worthy of this DVD prize.

  6. Almost too many to choose from! If I had to choose it would be the Heart of Gold from Hitchikers’ Guide to The Galaxy, If only so I could fire up the Infinite Improbability Drive! As long as they’ve taught the computer to make a bloody cup of tea this time! Now, where did I put my towel????

  7. the one from Close Encounters of the Third Kind – all the occupants looked really friendly so am sure it would be an inviting spaceship to explore!

  8. It’s got to be the TARDIS from Dr Who. It would be great to travel through both space and time to watch first hand famous battles such as Waterloo, Thermopylae (the 300) or Rorkes drift (Zulu).

  9. Got to be The Scorpio Blake’s 7’s second starship because a) it wasn’t destroyed and b) eventually gained plenty of upgrades which included making it faster than the destroyed Liberator.

  10. Battlestar Gallactica – it would be brilliant to be part of the colonial fleet! And to spend time with Commander Adama. Maybe sign up for Viper training…

  11. The Millennium Falcon…….even though I have always thought it might fall to bits with the way it looks unfinished!!!!! Nothing like living dangerously!

  12. The Star Ship Voyager, along with 7 of 9 because it goes faster, has a much more reliable teleporter and travels so far out into space and through wormholes, it would be great to explore the outer galaxies

  13. The spaceship Valley Forge in Silent Running, well the world is killing itself now, so why not live in a domed enclosed forest with 3 great robots, Dewey, Huey and Louie to see out my final days. Just love the last scene as a dome goes away in space with Dewey tending to the plants with a watering can with the 70’s hippy music playing. Classic.

  14. The USS Enterprise would be my choice because Star Trek was the first TV program and film that made me truly interested in space travel.

  15. It’s got to be the Liberator it’s weapons were so destructive that a shield had to be raised before they were fired to protect the crew, enemy ships were vaporized with a single hit.

  16. The Tardis, just to appreciate the engineering that goes into an optical illusion that allows the inside of a police phone box look massive!

  17. The space ship from Hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy (heart of Gold) because of the improbability engine/ drive.
