STANA KATIC, NATHAN FILLION

Hit cult TV Show Castle has had its up and downs over the last few season’s, most notably Season 8 which has become quite a conversation piece amongst fans who either love or hate the direction it has has gone in!

The only selling point and the one thing the fans love is the chemistry between the two stars, Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion, so its a huge new story this morning that ABC and ABC Studios have written out Katic’s character Kate if a ninth season goes ahead.

The whispers are that the show will return for a cut run of 13 episodes with the focus just on Castle himself, with Fillion himself yet to commit to a new season.

Castle Season 8 has had a disastrous run in the viewing figures but has picked up of late and the studio despite making this decision about Katic, is still yet to give the official word that the murder mystery show will return.

Without the dynamic of both Kate and Castle, I doubt very much if season 9 will be a worthwhile watch as despite my love for Nathan Fillion who is a huge cult star, the show works thanks to the dynamic of them both.

UPDATED: Its also been announced that Tamala Jones has been written out as well.  Jones played medical examiner Lanie Parish since the very first season.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
