teenage mutant ninja turtles 2

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot got predictably poor reviews, with the usual vitriol against co-producer Michael Bay, but it was a big success and I rather enjoyed it. The chase down the snow was for me the best action sequence of the year. It was no surprise that a sequel was announced soon after the box office receipts started coming in and here we have the latest trailer for the second film that gives the impression of a perhaps overstuffed story. We have the Turtles and other characters from the first film, while simultaneously we are being introduced to Bebop, Rocksteady, Casey Jones, and Krang to the mix. There’s an interdimensional invasion, plus there’s also going to be a new type of ooze that could make the turtles human. Fans and even non-fans can probably see where at least some of the story is going to go, but hopefully there will be a few surprises in store.

Directed by Dave Green and starring Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, and Tyler Perry, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is released in UK and US cinemas on June 3, 2016.

Dr Lenera

Dr LeneraI'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
