You just can’t keep a good zombie down!

The “Living Dead” franchise of Night, Dawn and Day, like the dead themselves just can’t stop coming back.

With the original films forever classified as horror classics by fans, over the last 20 years, the films have been remade with Night, starring Candyman himself Tony Todd, a faithful adaptation, while Dawn which had Zack Snyder in the director’s chair is rightly considered a rare remake that is actually pretty good!

Less can be said for Day Of The Dead which was a straight to DVD effort by Steve Miner, the guy who holds the honour of directing films in the Jason and Michael Myers franchise to much aplomb.

Having been hated by fans and the general fan of zombie films, Nu Image/Millennium are remaking the film again and have got The Corpse of Anna Fritz‘s Hèctor Hernández Vicens signed up to call the shots.

Early synopsis is:

Day Of The Dead, Follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her…

Casting is underway…….

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
