Fans of the Maze Runner franchise will have to wait a little bit longer as filming of the next instalment, The Death Cure has been delayed indefinitely.

The lead star Dylan O’Brien suffered onset injuries last month and while thankfully he is going to be OK, the early reports that the injury was a minor one may have been false as there are now reasons to believe that he had a “serious accident” and will need more time to recover.

This has resulted in the production being shut down from the original May 9th return.

20th Century Fox have released all staff and cast, so there is now no official confirmation of when the film will start with the studio making this official statement overnight!

“The resumption of principal photography on Maze Runner: The Death Cure has been further delayed to allow Dylan O’Brien more time to fully recover from his injuries. We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible.”

We at HCF wish O’Brien a safe recovery and we will bring you any new details on the next Maze Runner film when we get it!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
