Russell-Crowe

When Universal said they were going to create a monster universe with famed iconic creations and have a stellar cast in each film, they weren’t kidding and news this morning is that Russell Crowe is in talks to play one of their monsters.

Reports are coming through that Crowe is in negotiations to play Dr Jekyll who of course becomes Mr Hyde and he could make his appearance in Tom Cruise’s The Mummy which is due out in 2017.

The rumours are that while the likes of Johnny Depp’s The Invisible Man will get standalone films, The Mummy will have several monster cameos with potential of another spin offs for Universal to decide, with Crowe’s Doctor being one……

Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan are overseeing the project which Universal hope will do for classic monsters what Marvel have done for their Superhero franchise.

Ross Hughes

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
