Beverly Hills Cop

Originally a movie written for Sly Stallone, the original Beverly Hills Cop movie was on of the biggest films in the 80’s and made Eddie Murphy one of the world’s biggest stars.

While its sequel failed to match the success of its original, it still has fans, but the franchise sank to a whole level of crap with its second sequel that more or less killed off Axel Foley’s reputation at the box office.

For years there has been plans for a fourth film and recently a pilot was filmed but never picked up on for a TV Show, in which Murphy himself was having a cameo and passing on the action duties to his son,  but news today has broke that Paramount are in fact picking up the film again and bringing us Beverly Hills Cop 4.

Murphy himself is coming back to the role and the film will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed the well received Black and apparently are huge fans of the original movie.

Its been said that the film will be set in Detroit, so making a mockery of its talent, but I suppose Detroit Cop does not have the same sort of ring as its original title.

More on this as we get it!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
