the saint

Just a quick news story here, but after the continuing success of Mission Impossible, its been reported that The Saint is being lined up for a big screen remake, with hopes that it will be turned into a lucrative franchise.

Which makes sense, because done rightly, the film could mirror that of James Bond, because there are is a still a big fan base out there that adores the adventures of Simon Templar.

Despite tasting success on the small screen, the character has failed at the box office, with Val Kilmer’s attempt way back in the 90’s bombing at the box office.

Paramount has just secured the rights to the book series with Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Brad Krevoy and Robert Evans all being drafted in to produce the film.  Di Bonaventura is more well known for his work on the Transformers franchise.

More as we get it!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
