Its yet to hit the UK but horror hit Lights Out is all set for a sequel with New Line delighted with the box office takings of the surprise hit.

Made on a budget of $5m, it has already made $27 million domestically and $35 million worldwide, so you can understand why the studio has rushed out and granted a sequel.

James Wan who everything within horror he touches these days turns into a lucrative franchise will come back to produce with original director David F Sandberg back to direct and Eric Heisserer returning to write the script.

Lights Out hits the UK on Friday August 19th.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
